Page 2 Questions and Answers
1. Are any existing mechanical/electrical/structural drawings of the Powerhouse available?
We have drawings and plans, however they have to stay on site due to security reasons. No copies can be sent to the contractor.
2. What minimum flow rate must the temporary bypass feedwater skid support during a single-boiler swap — must it cover both remaining boilers at winter peak?
We have to maintain 32,000 lbs of steam per hour, that could be one or two or three boilers depending on temperature and demand. This is an engineering question that they have to determine on the information provided.
3. Will the Government permit one individual to serve in a 'triple-hat' capacity covering all three roles (Superintendent/SSHO/QC), or a 'dual-hat' capacity covering two of the three, or does the Government require three separate, dedicated, full-time on-site individuals — one each for Superintendent, SSHO, and QC?"
Yes, you may utilize a single person in this role, as long as they can cover multiple roles at once and not allow quality and safety to be compromised.
End of Questions.
