11. Factor 2 Submission Requirement lists, “A minimum of one project should show experience with smoke evacuation system in a high rise building.” It is our understanding that local code may not mandate smoke evacuation in high rise buildings. As such, local experienced and qualified fire alarm system contractors have experience with fire alarm systems integrated with the HVAC DDC systems and door controls for egress and/or smoke control, while not necessarily smoke evacuation. Please confirm that the Government will accept project experience in high rise buildings with HVAC DDC system integration and door controls for egress and/or smoke control in lieu of smoke evacuation.

Will the Government consider extending the project duration to a minimum 365 calendar day duration?
