About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers amendment (Amendment 0001) for Solicitation 140R6025Q0005 regarding MTE Elevator Maintenance Service for the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation.

The Q&A addresses three key points about the elevator maintenance contract: 1) A reference to the Performance Work Statement regarding replacement parts responsibilities, 2) Clarification that the Quotation/Price Schedule section only defines what CM (Corrective Maintenance) means rather than requiring CM pricing, and 3) Confirmation that Preventative Maintenance (PM) and annual service costs should reflect the total cost for the specified year, with service calls being included under the Corrective Maintenance unit. The document does not provide specific pricing requirements or detailed scope information beyond these clarifications.

MTE Elevator Maintenance Service Solicitation: 140R6025Q0005

Amendment 0001 Questions and Answers

Q1. Is the contractor going to supply all replacement parts?

A1. Refer to solicitation attachment 1 (Performance Work Statement).

Q2. Could you please clarify if CM does not need to be quoted or not. Under Quotation/Price Schedule, it states to price CM and the actual pricing schedule states to not quote CM. Please advise if you would CM quoted or not.

A2. The aforementioned section Quotation/Price Schedule only provides what the abbreviation CM identifies.

Q3. The sheet only requests pricing for Preventative Maintenance (PM) services, while Corrective Maintenance (CM) services are listed but not to be priced. Since PM services are performed once per quarter (every three months), I assume the monthly cost listed is only for the month when PM services occur. I do not see where to include pricing for Annual services and service calls.

A3. The PM and annual service cost shall be captured to reflect the total cost for the specified year. Service calls shall be considered within the Corrective Maintenance unit.
