TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Trailer Mounted Watercraft Decontamination Unit US DOI, Bureau of Reclamation
Scope of Project:
The Bureau of Reclamation seeks proposals to furnish a self-contained watercraft decontamination unit that includes a pressure washer, trailer with water tank, and attachments. This decontamination unit is used to spray off invasive mussels attached to or inside of watercraft at Reclamation reservoirs in New Mexico. Accessories and parts should be secured on the trailer. Unit Price must include all costs associated with the tanks, trailer, accessories, and delivery. Vendors must be an authorized dealer or reseller(s) for the product requested.
New Watercraft Decontamination Unit:

| 3. | Pressure: adjustable, with maximum pressure between 3500 and 4000 PSI |
| 4. | Flow: 5+ GPM |
| 5. | Water supply tank size: 400+ gallons (2-200 gallon tanks or single tanks with baffles to minimize water movement). Seamless polyethylene. |
| 6. | One high-pressure hoses Length: 100 ft. |
| 7. | Hose Type: 3/8”, 3000 psi, 250 degree rated |
| 8. | Wash Wand: 48” Molded Trigger Handle; Adjustable pressure (down to 2000 PSI) |
| 9. | Burner fuel type: diesel #1 or #2, kerosene. |
| 10. | Adjustable thermostat for output water temperature range: 120-210 degree Fahrenheit |
| 11. | Hose reels: (2) one for 3/8” high-pressure hose and a second hose reel for the 100’ - 5/8” fresh water, garden-type hose to fill tank. |
| 12. | Pressure Washer Engine Fuel Type: gasoline |
| 13. | Pressure Washer Engine Fuel Capacity: 8 to 10 gallons. |
| 14. | Pressure Washer Engine ignition: Electric |
| 15. | Pressure Washer Battery: 12V |

Trailer:
| 1. | All products must be mounted to trailer and delivered to the Bureau of Reclamation at 555 Broadway Blvd., NE, Albuq., NM, USA 87102 with Titles, and inventory sheets, if applicable. |
| 2. | Trailer must meet or exceed all current New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. |
| 3. | Tandem Axle - Minimum 7,000 lb. capacity, or to pull trailer at full capacity with tank filled. Electric or other brake systems on one or both axles. |
| 4. | Maximum weight with equipment and filled tank must not exceed GVWR. |
| 5. | 2 inch ball coupler |
| 6. | Four 15 inch Steel Wheels (or appropriate for trailer size and weight) |
| 7. | Four ST205/75/R15 radial tires (or appropriate for trailer size and weight) Type D style tires |
| 8. | Matching spare tire and wheel mounted on bracket. |
| 9. | Adjustable drop leg tongue jack w/footplate sized to accommodate unit. |
| 10. | 12 GA fenders capable of being used as a step |
| 11. | Safety chains with snap hooks appropriately rated for trailer and load. |
| 12. | 7-Spade RV electrical connector (must be hardwired, no adapters allowed) |
| 13. | All trailer lighting must meet or exceed Federal, NMDOT requirements |
| 14. | Trailer hubs must be equipped with stainless steel bearing buddies; EZ-lube, or an oil bath lubrication system. Lubrication system must include protective covers. |
| 15. | Trailer must be complete and ready to operate. |
| 16. | Trailer should include a lockable storage area (for wands, hoses, and other accessories, such as tools, fittings, supplies). Storage area should be large enough to prevent damage to accessories when closed. |
Warranty:
| 1. | Minimum of 1 year parts & labor warranty |
| 2. | All equipment and parts must be new, no refurbished equipments of parts. |
| 3. | Minimum of 4 year warranty on engine |
| 4. | Minimum of 5 year warranty on heating elements |
| 5. | Minimum of 7 year warranty on pump |
Training and Manual:
| 1. | The cost of the equipment must include training to the customer that includes, but is not limited to, equipment operating instructions and safety instructions. Training shall be conducted in Albuquerque, New Mexico within 10 days of equipment delivery (preferably same day as delivery). |
| 2. | All applicable parts, service, operator manuals (either Paper or Electronic format), to be included at no additional charge. |
