140R3026Q0073 Master Key System Replacement and Lock Core/Cylinder Furnish and Installation
Q1. While reviewing the project documents, I noticed that your facilities are looking to rekey over 360 cores and unify the key system. It seems there’s a mix of ASSA and Best cylinders throughout your facilities. Schlage manufactures key cores and locks, so I wanted to ask—for the rekey process, are you planning to standardize on ASSA or Best, or would you consider transitioning to a Schlage key system?
A1. The Government's objective is to standardize the facility-wide key system, with all new cores and keys. The Government is not specifying a particular manufacturer. Quoters may propose any commercial grade key system that meets or exceeds the requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW).
Q2. Could you please provide the list of contractors or plan holders who may be bidding the project named above that is out for bid?
A2. Amendment 0002 was issued to provide sign in sheet for site visit conducted on July 29, 2026 at 2:00 PM PDT at 500 Date St, Boulder City, NV 89005.
Q3. Regarding the past performance requirements of Solicitation number 140R3026Q0073, I was wondering if you would consider the attached [past performance] letters regarding my previous experience rather than what was explicitly outlined in the solicitation. If it does not, please let me know.
A3. Yes, past performance letters are acceptable as long as it meets the requirement found in 52.212-1, Instructions To Offerors - Commercial Products And Commercial Services and 52.212-2, Evaluation — Commercial Products And Commercial Services Q4. The Statement of Work says that the period of performance will commence 90 calendar days after award. On what date will the award be issued?
A4. The award date will be within 60 days after the combined synopsis solicitation closes.
