140R3022Q0064 YAO Gravel Quarry Mining and Riprap Material Section 7 & Agnes Wilson Quarries
Question # Offeror Questions BOR Response
Tonnage total for Agnes Wilson Quarry is listed at
7,500 tons on the revised purchase order/price schedule posted on August 23rd, however in section
(vii) of the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation, the tonnage totals are described as 3,960 tons to stockpile site A174.3 and 3,960 tons to stockpile site
A252.6 for a total of 6,600 tons – which is a clear discrepancy of the tonnage total listed on the purchase order. Please advise which total for Agnes
Wilson Quarry is correct.
The schedule and the Combined Synopsis Solicitation have been updated to reflect the correct tons and are in yellow highlight on both Attachments.
2 The stockpile sites for Agnes Wilson are listed as
A174.3 and A252.6 on the Combined
Synopsis/Solicitation, however the stockpiles sites are listed as A174.3 and A162.5 on the revised
SOW.
The schedule and the Combined Synopsis Solicitation have been updated to reflect the correct tons and are in yellow highlight on both Attachments.
The ton‐miles items (Items No. 1‐3 and 2‐3) do not match the mileage of each stockpile listed
(provided the mileage is listed correctly on the SOW, and the tonnage listed on the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is correct). It seems the
Bureau combined the mileage of both sites in determining the ton‐miles, when the tonnage per site should be calculated separately. IF the mileages and tonnages are listed correctly, the actual ton‐miles per quarry site would be as follows:
The schedule and the Combined Synopsis Solicitation have been updated to reflect the correct tons and are in yellow highlight on both Attachments.
Please confirm the correct designated RM of the stockpile sites and/or confirm the correct
Section/Township/Range, and/or please provide maps of the stockpile sites so the contractor can self‐ verify.

With the quarry site being a separate site from the dumpsites. Will the trucking be required to be prevailing wage or will it be non‐prevailing wage because one site is a pickup and one site is a delivery?
This is a service contract and you will need to use the Wage Determiantions in Attachment 4.
6 On the Agnes quarry project, will a separate SWPP need to be filed with AZ since the dumpsites are on the AZ side as well as the already required CA
SWPP?
SWPP will not be needed for the stockpile sites.
There is a bridge for the access to the Agnes Wilson dumpsite in Parker. Is there a weight limit on the bridge that would limit fully loaded trucks?
The Bridge is a owned by Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) which was designed for HS20 loading.
