About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for the Hungry Horse Cavitation Repair IDIQ contract (140R1026B0003). The document addresses ten contractor inquiries regarding project execution and contractual requirements.

Key questions addressed include: extension of access hours from four days at ten hours to six days at ten hours (to be addressed in forthcoming amendment); acceptability of Microsoft Projects as the scheduling program (refer to section 01 31 30 Contract Document Management System); applicability of full safety equipment requirements for previously repaired units (to be addressed in forthcoming amendment); onsite presence requirements for Safety Professionals (refer to section 01 35 30); cavitation repair duration windows (refer to section 01 14 00 Work Restrictions); working hours and seven-day-per-week scheduling during shutdown work (to be addressed in forthcoming amendment); and clarification on whether grinding is to be bid per man hour or per crew grinding time (to be addressed in forthcoming amendment). Three inquiries regarding photographic documentation—including scale of work area, owner-provided platforms, and dam electrical connections for welding power—were answered with references to Amendment 0003. This document does not establish pricing terms, response dates, or award information but rather clarifies specification requirements and outstanding issues pending resolution through future amendments.
