About this file
This document outlines specifications for procurement of plug valves and strainers for the Right Powerhouse at Grand Coulee Dam. The Bureau of Reclamation seeks to purchase thirty-six plug valves ranging in size from 12 to 14 inches, as well as eighteen strainers that are 12 and 14 inches. The plug valves and strainers will isolate and strain raw river water used in the generator cooling water system. Delivery is required thirty-six weeks after order receipt to the Grand Coulee facility. Products must meet specified materials, pressure ratings, connections, coatings and other standards outlined.
