About this file
This specification document outlines requirements for plug valves and strainers to be provided to the Bureau of Reclamation at the Grand Coulee Dam Right Powerhouse. Thirty-six plug valves in sizes of 12 inches and 14 inches are required, along with eighteen strainers of the same sizes. The valves must isolate the strainers and regulate untreated river water routed into the generator cooling system. Technical specifications are provided for the valve and strainer materials, pressure ratings, connections, coatings, actuators, and standards. Successful offerors must deliver all items to the specified delivery address within thirty-six weeks of order receipt. The related solicitation is for these Right Powerhouse valves and strainers with opportunity number 140R1022Q0005 issued by the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation.
