About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for National Park Service contract 140P8626R0007 concerning MAHE Water Meters at Golden Gate Area (GOGA). The document addresses four inquiries from potential contractors regarding meter installation and system requirements.
The Q&A clarifies operational logistics: NPS will coordinate with residents and businesses to provide access to meters located in houses or utility closets; water shutoffs during installation will be phased to prevent extended campus-wide outages; meter sizes and locations are documented in the specifications, though contractors must verify actual sizes before installation as some meters were inaccessible and estimated sizes were provided for bidding purposes; and specific endpoint system requirements are detailed in the accompanying specifications. This document does not establish pricing terms, response dates, or award information, but serves to answer clarifying questions about project execution and technical requirements.

Answer 2: NPS will help coordinate with the contractor and businesses/residents for water shut offs during installation. This will need to be phased as to not have an entire campus without water for an extended period of time.
Question 3: Where can I find the sizes and location of the meters to be replaced?
