About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers attachment for a federal contract solicitation (140P8526Q0102) regarding Water Treatment Services at Yosemite National Park.
The solicitation requires wastewater operator services at the Wawona WWTP (4004 Chilnualna Falls Road) for a period of performance from August 23, 2026, through December 26, 2026, with no option periods or planned extensions. One operator is required, though two resumes must be submitted. The operator must hold all three required licenses, which will be applied to Wawona WWTP for regulatory compliance and responsibility. The contract has no previous iteration. The scope does not include equipment repairs, sludge hauling, lift station responsibilities beyond what is described in the Statement of Work, or emergency call-outs outside normal hours. The contractor is responsible for providing all lodging and transportation to and from the worksite. Subcontracting limitations are governed by FAR Part 52.219-14. A prior similar solicitation (140P8525Q0022) resulted in an award to WaterTalent LLC for $300,000, though the government notes that the statement of work, while similar, is not identical to the current requirement.
