About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document (Attachment 5) for federal contract 140P8326Q0013, a CRM Utilities Survey at Big Hole National Battlefield (BIHO). The document clarifies and supplements information provided in the original Request for Quotes, with quoters required to make pen and ink changes to the RFQ where discrepancies exist.

Key clarifications include: drone work by FAA licensed operators is not acceptable for this contract; the project schedule can be adjusted to accommodate weather conditions such as snow and frozen ground, despite the June 20, 2026 completion deadline and 120-day performance period; the National Park Service will provide shapefiles of the survey area to quoters; and anticipated test units for pricing purposes may include up to 15 test units at 2 meters deep and 6 test units at 1 meter deep, though the final quantity is pending NPS completion of the consultation process. This document does not address pricing terms, response deadlines, or award dates, which would be contained in the primary RFQ document.
