About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for solicitation 140P8125Q0069 for Septic and Vault Pomping services at Mojave National Preserve. The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to provide human waste pump-out services for 32 units, with specific requirements including transportation and disposal of waste in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, California. The solicitation is a new requirement, not a contract renewal, and involves a water truck provided by Mojave National Preserve to support the pump-out operations.

Key details include the contractor's responsibility to dispose of human waste at county and state approved sites following appropriate regulations, and a correction to the Statement of Work specifying contractor personnel credentials. The solicitation has been amended twice: Amendment 0001 provided a corrected Statement of Work, and Amendment 0002 offered answers to contractor questions and made additional SOW corrections. The federal agency managing this opportunity is the Department of the Interior National Park Service Pacific West Region.
