Questions/Answers PARK: Herbert Hoover National Historic Site PROJECT TITLE: Replace Fire and Security Alarm System – 140P6024B0005 Questions:

1. Do you have the model numbers for the devices and panels for both the burglary and fire systems?

Answer: The current model numbers are as follows:

· Main system for burglary and fire - Keltron DMP-703 with a Keltron PS740 Power Supply in addition to a Minuteman Enterprise E750 uninterruptable power supply

· Keypads are all MAXSYS DSC - 4501 keypads

· Commercial Fire Control Communicator - MAXSYS DSC PC4020CF with additional Keltron expanders

· Communication from each building to the main system - Keltron Partyline Event Transceiver (PET 404 or 408)

· Fire panels vary throughout the park - Faraday LiefWatch 41, FireLite MS-2, MS-4, or MS-5UD, and DMP Fire Command Center XR150FC/XR550FC

· Power Supply - Potter PSN-64 is at the Birthplace Cottage

· Burglary panels - most buildings have a PC4020 (unknown make)

· Motion detectors vary - multiple brands of addressable to non-addressable

· Smoke detectors - mostly System Sensor i3 Series

· Heat detectors - mostly System Sensor 5600 Series (135 and 194 degrees)

· Fire alarm pull stations - FireLite Alarms at Visitor Center and Post Office

· Multiple makes and models of horn strobes.

· Unknown make and models of hold up alarms at the Visitor Center and Post Office

2. Who is running the cabling for the property?

Answer: The awardee will be responsible for running the cabling.

3. Are we hanging devices and running all cabling? or is a subcontractor running all cabling too where the devices will be installed, and we are connecting the devices?

Answer: The awardee will be responsible for all the wiring, including removing the old wiring, devices, and panels.
