About this file

This document is an amendment to a federal solicitation requesting proposals to replace the shake roof at Timuquana Manor in Homestead, Florida. The National Park Service Southeast Region is seeking to award a firm fixed-price contract to remove all existing battens and underlayment from the wood shake roof and install new ASTM D226 Type II felt underlayment and flashing tape per the Florida Building Code. Offerors must acknowledge all three amendments issued for this solicitation by signing the SF30 amendment form or completing block 19 of the SF1442 proposal form. Proposals are due by the extended date provided in Amendment 3. The purpose of the third amendment is to clarify that ice and water shield should not be used as underlayment and to specify the underlayment and flashing tape requirements in the Florida Building Code.
