About this file
This is a Site Visit Question Log for a REER Wiring Replacement project. The document records seven questions raised during a site visit and the responses provided, along with indicators for whether Contracting Officer (CO) follow-up is needed.
The scope of work focuses on replacing out-of-compliance wiring and junction boxes as described in the Statement of Work, while maintaining all existing reciprocals, outlets, and switches. Work explicitly excludes bathrooms and any ancillary items outside the rewiring scope. Key questions requiring CO follow-up include: clarification on whether panel screw hole issues and other discovered deficiencies should be addressed; confirmation of building closure dates and project timing; procedures for handling spark guards or box extensions if located; and management of display cases and interpretive materials during site shutdown. The project start date has not yet been established. Questions regarding the project budget, number of competing contractors, and other competitive information were declined during the site visit and directed to the CO for official response.
