About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers amendment to RFQ #140P5126Q0011 for janitorial services at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. The 20-question Q&A clarifies key aspects of the janitorial services requirement, addressing contractor responsibilities, staffing, storage, and scope of work. The Government confirms this is a new requirement with no incumbent contractor and that contractors are responsible for determining their own employee/staff management, labor hours, and time required to service each site. Storage for cleaning supplies is limited to a utility closet with very limited space. The Government clarifies that contractors are not responsible for installing hand soap dispensers if none are available, that no "Mow Plan" is required despite a typographical reference in the RFQ, and that only services explicitly listed in the statement of work are required—including that cleaning the charcoal grill is not a contractor responsibility. Response times for service deficiencies and re-cleaning requirements are detailed in the statement of work, as are quality control expectations including submission of a Quality Control Work Plan and Housekeeping manual. The Government provides no established budget range or independent government estimate and instructs offerors to use best business practices and industry standards when developing pricing. No historical staffing data, prior performance expectations, known site challenges, or vehicle access restrictions are available to guide contractor proposals.
