The file meticulously catalogs 1,243.27 linear feet of archives and rare books across multiple container types, including standard MSS boxes, legal MSS boxes, cartons, banker boxes, map cases, architectural drawing boxes, and tubes. The inventory encompasses 651 standard MSS boxes, 294.5 legal MSS boxes, 334 standard cartons, 80 OVRS boxes, 210 oral history tape boxes, and various specialized storage containers for rare books, unboxed archival volumes, and architectural drawings.

The container count supports the broader contract (Solicitation Number 140P4325Q0045) for packing and moving museum collections from Building 107 in the Charlestown Navy Yard, which involves relocating 1,243.27 linear feet of archives, 178.67 linear feet of rare books, and approximately 31,046 museum objects to two separate temporary storage locations during a major renovation. The move will be overseen by National Park Service personnel, with the contractor responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and storage equipment installation. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for May 29, 2025, at 9:00 AM ET, with the contract administered by the Department of the Interior National Park Service Northeast Region.
