About this file
This document appears to be a modification to Section 01 50 00 of a construction contract regarding Temporary Facilities and Controls. The changes outline the use charges for water and electric power services during the contract period. For water service, potable water from the existing water system is available without metering or use charges for up to 10 users/camper hook-ups, with connections and extensions provided for construction operations at no additional permit cost. Importantly, this excludes construction and non-potable water availability.
For electric power service, power from the existing system is available with metering and use charges to be paid through the local power company. The contractor must coordinate temporary metering installation and billing with the local electrical provider, and provide necessary connections and extensions for construction operations, covering any additional permit costs. The use charges for these temporary facilities are to be included in the overall Contract Sum as required.
