About this file
This document provides an overview of a federal contract opportunity to replace park-owned utility infrastructure systems. The National Park Service is soliciting proposals to rehabilitate utility infrastructure at Catoctin Mountain Park in Maryland under solicitation number 140P2024R0026. The project scope involves replacing water, sewer and electrical systems serving park facilities. The original solicitation from 2022 has been reduced in scope due to funding constraints. Base bid work has been reduced and some tasks moved to optional items. The pre-proposal conference slides describe the revised project scope and provide additional context. Offerors are advised to review contract documents for details on permits, work restrictions, traffic control and other requirements. Evaluation criteria include technical approach, schedule, experience, past performance and small business participation. Proposals are due by March 21, 2024.
