# Question Govt. Response

Specification section 012700 Identifies and describes CLIN No.0009

Construction of Mockup Panel. The “Contract Price Schedule

Template” included in the Solicitation document

B08_140P2021R0109 describes CLIN #9 as being the Option A for the

PV for RMS Structure. Please clarify intent.

CLIN #9 Mockup Panel is incorrect. There is no dedicated mockup panel for this project.

Specification section 013100 part 1.9.C.4 indicates the potential for a Building Permit from DPNR. This permit would have a significant cost associated with obtaining this permit. Please advise if NPS intends to permit this project under the local building jurisdiction, or if Federal permit or authorization will supersede. Our understanding is that NPS has the authority and jurisdiction over permitting on NPS property. Contractor can obtain DPNR building permit for this project, however, there will be a material cost for permit and plan review fees, so we would like to clarify the intent of NPS.

This project does not require a building permit per coordination with DPNR.

Requirement 013100.1.9.C.4 does not apply.

Drawing L1.01 Note 1 indicates plant material to be furnished by owner and installed by contractor. Please confirm intent

All plant material will be provided by the Owner since plant material can not be imported (this includes trees, shrubs, and stabilization plants). The contractor will be responsible for installation of the plant material.

Drawing L1.01 Notes 1.1 and 1.2 indicate landscape scope associated with Bid Options A and B. The bid price schedule provided with bid docs and amendments indicate Options A and B are associated with the Solar PV system. Please clarify intent.

The landscape installation noted on L1.01 and L1.02 notes 1.1 and 1.2 will be included in the base bid. Also, disregard bid option notes on sheet L1.03 in the plant schedule.

Spec section 260519, paragraph 2.1.H indicates MC Cable shall not be used unless prior approval has been granted by the CO. AS this would have significant cost impacts, we would like to know if NPS would allow MC Cable in areas and conditions permissible by code.

The electrical documents exclude the use of MC Cable per general electrical Note 9 on E0.01.
