22. How long do you expect it will take the NPS to review the proposed documentation required prior to allowing the actual disassembly?

The Government will move quickly to review the required Division 1 documents to allow the project to move forward as efficiently as possible. The duration is highly dependent on the quality of documents submitted.

23. Please clarify the documentation requirements at the metal shop. Are the metal units to be documented before and after the finishes have been removed?

The Contractor will be required to document the entire process in accordance with Specification

Sections 01 32 33, Photographic Documentation for Historic Preservation Projects and Section 01 35

91, Historic Preservation Treatment Procedures.

24. Has anyone documented the original finishes? Is that required?

A materials analysis has been documented in Attachments 7 and 8 from Amendment No. 2.

25. Please clarify what documentation is required for reassembly.

The contractor will be required to document the entire process in accordance with Specification

Sections 01 32 33, Photographic Documentation for Historic Preservation Projects and Section 01 35
