A65. See specification section 05 52 13 PIPE and TUBE RAILINGS as previously issued.

Q66. Drawing A4.1 & A4.3 Bathroom Walls: Demolition Notes say to remove all fixtures, vanities and finishes. New Work drawings shows existing drywall in most areas where demolition occurs. By the time the demolition is done on the walls intended to remain existing, they will have large holes, etc and may or may not support new ceramic tile. We recommend removing all the GWB walls in the bathrooms and installing new GWB and backboard to existing studs. Please advise.

A66. This is Contractor Means and Methods.

Q67. Please provide a demo plan for the west roof and east roof areas.

A67. See response to #27 above.

Q68. Please provide the existing roof framing plan and structural details for the west roof and east roof area.

A68. See response to #28 above.

Q69. Please provide the structural design for the davit system as it appears to be incomplete in detail 4/A3.2. The steel sizes and spacing for steel members are not indicated. The detail also does not appear to provide for adequate structural support of the lifeline system since it does not connect back to load bearing beams.

140P2018R0026 AMENDMENT 3 DATED 8/10/18 PAGE 12

A69. See response to #29 above.

Q70. Will CO/CMR office be provided by the Park?

A70. The Park has indicated that they can find space for the CO/CMR office within one of the existing buildings. Contractor is not required to provide a trailer for CO/CMR trailer. No separate toilet facilities for men and women are required.

Q71. 1. Acoustical ceiling spec for CL-2: Tile #1942 is for 2'x2' ceiling tile. I believe he is looking for #1945. Please confirm. 2: Acoustical ceiling spec for CL-4: Line 13 - Fixture trim FTP4ZW. This is only for the 4" wide part fo the light. Are these continbuous lights or are they 4' long? It appears on the reflected ceiling print that these are continuous. They also show them crossing each other near corridoer #303 which cannot be done. If they are continuous, they only make the trims up to 96" long. There will be a gap. The trim PCS only comes in BLIZZARD WHITE and they call for STD white grid. Should the grid be changed to BLIZZARD WHITE to match? Also, with the cancelled tile in this room, it needs support. How ae the linear diffusers being installed? Are the(y) spanning over top of the grid on both sides?

A71. 1. Acoustical ceiling spec for CL-2 should be item #1945 (2'x4' tile). 2. The light fixtures are not continuous. They are 4ft long per specifications. Ceiling grid to accommodate 4” fixture. Where fixture does not exist, provide 4” ceiling tile. Light fixtures, controls and wiring associated with zones 13b and 03b are eliminated from scope. Final color to be selected from standard manufacturers colors. Contractor to provide samples per specifications. Linear diffuser to be installed flush with finish surface of the ceiling system.

Q72. 1- Drawing D1.3 indicates remove & replace pavers ( 25x) Please provide size and material for pavers

A72. The dimensions for the 25 pavers to be replaced are shown in a note on drawing A1.3 (24" x 24"). Replacement for tiles is "match existing."

Q73. Room finish schedule - Rooms 306 & 307 call for FL3 ( WALK OFF MAT). Drawing- A7.3 Rooms 306 & 307 indicate Carpet, Please clarify carpet or walk off matt.

A73. The room finish schedule is incorrect in this instance. The entrance vestibules 306 & 307 have the same carpet (CP-2) as the adjacent rooms inside. There is no walk off mat in these locations.

Q74. Plastic laminated wood locker spec 101523. Where on drawings are they indicated ?

A74. The plastic laminated wood lockers are located in the first floor Interpretive Office 101 (see sheet A6.1) and in the second floor Break Room 315 (see sheet A6.3). There ae ten (10) full height lockers in Room 101 and five (5) 3-tier (3 doors) lockers in Break Room 315.

Note: Executive Order (EO) 13706, Establishing Paid Sick Leave for Federal Contractors applies to all contracts subject to the

Davis-Bacon Act for which the contract is awarded (and any solicitation was issued) on or after January 1, 2017. If this contract is covered by the EO, the contractor must provide employees with 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours they work, up to 56 hours of paid sick leave each year.

Employees must be permitted to use paid sick leave for their own illness, injury or other health-related needs, including preventive care; to assist a family member (or person who is like family to the employee) who is ill, injured, or has other health-related needs, including preventive care; or for reasons resulting from, or to assist a family member (or person who is

140P2018R0026 AMENDMENT 3 DATED 8/10/18 PAGE 25

like family to the employee) who is a victim of, domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking. Additional information on contractor requirements and worker protections under the EO is available at www.dol.gov/whd/govcontracts.

Unlisted classifications needed for work not included within the scope of the classifications listed may be added after award only as provided in the labor standards contract clauses

(29CFR 5.5 (a) (1) (ii)).

The body of each wage determination lists the classification and wage rates that have been found to be prevailing for the cited type(s) of construction in the area covered by the wage determination. The classifications are listed in alphabetical order of "identifiers" that indicate whether the particular rate is a union rate (current union negotiated rate for local), a survey rate (weighted average rate) or a union average rate

(weighted union average rate).

Union Rate Identifiers

A four letter classification abbreviation identifier enclosed in dotted lines beginning with characters other than "SU" or

"UAVG" denotes that the union classification and rate were prevailing for that classification in the survey. Example:

PLUM0198-005 07/01/2014. PLUM is an abbreviation identifier of the union which prevailed in the survey for this classification, which in this example would be Plumbers. 0198

140P2018R0026 AMENDMENT 3 DATED 8/10/18 PAGE 26

indicates the local union number or district council number where applicable, i.e., Plumbers Local 0198. The next number, 005 in the example, is an internal number used in processing the wage determination. 07/01/2014 is the effective date of the most current negotiated rate, which in this example is July 1, 2014.

Union prevailing wage rates are updated to reflect all rate changes in the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) governing this classification and rate.

Survey Rate Identifiers

Classifications listed under the "SU" identifier indicate that no one rate prevailed for this classification in the survey and the published rate is derived by computing a weighted average rate based on all the rates reported in the survey for that classification. As this weighted average rate includes all rates reported in the survey, it may include both union and non-union rates. Example: SULA2012-007 5/13/2014. SU indicates the rates are survey rates based on a weighted average calculation of rates and are not majority rates. LA indicates the State of Louisiana. 2012 is the year of survey on which these classifications and rates are based. The next number, 007 in the example, is an internal number used in producing the wage determination. 5/13/2014 indicates the survey completion date for the classifications and rates under that identifier.

Survey wage rates are not updated and remain in effect until a new survey is conducted.

Union Average Rate Identifiers

140P2018R0026 AMENDMENT 3 DATED 8/10/18 PAGE 27

Classification(s) listed under the UAVG identifier indicate that no single majority rate prevailed for those classifications; however, 100% of the data reported for the classifications was union data. EXAMPLE: UAVG-OH-0010

08/29/2014. UAVG indicates that the rate is a weighted union average rate. OH indicates the state. The next number, 0010 in the example, is an internal number used in producing the wage determination. 08/29/2014 indicates the survey completion date for the classifications and rates under that identifier.

A UAVG rate will be updated once a year, usually in January of each…
