About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment #0002) to a federal solicitation for a pressure pump replacement project at Tuzigoot National Monument in Clarkdale, Arizona. The amendment includes two questions and answers regarding the pump replacement, specifically addressing pump dimensions and site access. The first question asks about the height from the concrete base to the suction and discharge ports, which can be found in the attached Grundfos Pump Performance Datasheet. The second question concerns site access, with the government clarifying that vehicle access to the pump room is not available and that contractors must navigate a short trail and a flight of 10 concrete steps to reach the pump room. Accompanying the amendment are photographs of the existing pump installation and a site map showing the location of the pump room relative to the parking lot and visitor center entrance.

1. Can you please provide a height from the concrete base to the center of the suction and discharge ports of the existing pumps.

In the Scope of Work under attachments you will find a

Grundfos Pump Performance

Datasheet, on the General

Arrangement page the dimensions are listed and are exactly the same as the current pumps.

2. How good is the access to the pumps? Can the contractor access this building with a vehicle? Is their stairs to navigate to get to the pumps? Can pictures be provided?

Vehicle access to the pump room is not available. There are stairs to the pump room via a short trail from the front of the visitor center. See map on page four. The red line delineates access to the pump room. The location of the pump room is noted in relation to the parking lot and the
