About this file

This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a pest control solicitation at Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area issued by the Department of the Interior National Park Service Intermountain Region (Solicitation Number: 140P1426Q0105).

The solicitation involves pest control services for facilities in Montana and Wyoming, with a base period running from the date of award through September 1, 2027, followed by four additional yearly option periods. The contract allows prime contractors to utilize qualified, licensed pest control subcontractors or teaming partners for on-site treatment work, provided they meet state licensing requirements—Montana requires a commercial pesticide applicator license for individuals and an operator license for those applying under a licensed applicator, while Wyoming credentials individuals at the state level only. Spring and fall treatments are required once per season for all building units, with a 14-day resident notice requirement for housing units. The requirement schedule includes Items 10-50 covering the base plus four option periods, with Item 60 representing an additional six-month period for which the Government requests pricing for evaluation purposes but has not confirmed as mandatory. Site visits are not mandatory, though interested offerors may arrange access by contacting Sharon LaRosa. The Government will evaluate pricing for all requested items, including the optional six-month extension.
