About this file

This document is a set of Questions and Answers (Q&A) related to Request for Quotes (RFQ) for repairing the fuel tank monitoring system at Yellowstone National Park. The key details are:

The fuel tank is below grade and made of steel. It contains both diesel and gasoline. The Veeder-Root TLS 450+ ATG system is an acceptable alternative to the EVO400 system, as it is compatible with the existing conduit and wiring layout and provides similar operational familiarity for local staff. The existing TLS-350 system is less than 40 feet from the tank, and new conduit can utilize the existing conduit and wiring. No photos of the tank or current system are available, as the tank is below grade. The awarded contractor is responsible for determining compatibility with the current system.
