About this file

The document is a Technical Questionnaire for a National Park Service contract (Solicitation #140P1225Q0051) to relocate and restore a historic railroad locomotive cab at Curecanti National Recreation Area. The questionnaire requires offerors to provide detailed responses addressing three key evaluation areas: project completion methodology, prior experience, and technical capabilities.

Specifically, the questionnaire seeks information on how contractors will complete the project within the statement of work and performance period, with an emphasis on cost management. The evaluation will give greatest consideration to proposals demonstrating recent experience in steel structure construction, historic railroad restoration expertise, and knowledge of late 19th-century locomotive cab construction techniques. Offerors are also required to detail the machines, equipment, and innovative techniques they will use for relocating historic railroad equipment, with particular attention to the specialized experience of key personnel.
