About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document addressing contractor inquiries regarding solicitation 140L6226Q0025 for the Emergency Cody Field Office Security System. The Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Nevada Region is seeking repair and upgrade services for the Cody Field Office access control system, specifically requiring replacement of SNIB3 and RREB controller boards, installation of five FICAM-compliant keypad/contact card readers at three building locations and two warehouse gates, wiring verification, programming, testing, and full integration with the existing Identiv Velocity platform (Version 3.8.5, Build 3.8.5.694). The work scope focuses exclusively on Physical Access Control System (PACS) reader and controller installation with no modifications required to existing doors or gates.
Key clarifications provided in the Q&A include confirmation that the Cody Field Office currently operates without an active Identiv Velocity Software Support Agreement, meaning contractors should not include unnecessary software upgrades in their quotations. The solicitation's response deadline is August 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. MDT, as stated in Block 8 of the SF1449 form; an earlier date of August 13, 2026, referenced on a continuation sheet is superseded by this corrected deadline.
