About this file
This document is an amendment to a federal solicitation responding to questions from offerors. The amendment clarifies that Genetec and Bosch Intrusion equipment will be acceptable alternatives to those listed for the access control and video surveillance systems and intrusion detection systems, respectively, provided they meet the Buy American requirements. While the access control system must be from the FIPS 201 approved products list, the closed circuit television and duress alarm systems only need to be equivalent to those referenced in the bid schedule. The related federal contract opportunity is for the Bureau of Land Management Wyoming Region to procure security systems for facilities in Buffalo and Casper, Wyoming under solicitation number 140L6221R0031.

1. Please verify that Genetec will be acceptable for the access control and video surveillance and Bosch Intrusion will be an acceptable alternative to the equipment listed in the spreadsheet provided with the solicitation.
They both meet the Buy American requirement.
Per the Statement of Work (SOW)/Specifications. All hardware and software for the Access Control System (ACS) must be selected from the list of approved products which can be found in the FIPS 201 PIV II Evaluation Program website (https://www.idmanagement.gov/approved-products-list-pacs-products/). It does not need to be the system that is referenced on the bid schedule but must be FIPS 201 Approved.
For the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and Duress Alarm System (DAS) are an “or equal” as listed on the bid schedules.
