AMENDMENT: 0001
1. We went and looked it over in person, we didn’t see any netwire part of the fence? Is there any like the solicitation states there is? If so, where is it located.
There is no mention of netwire in any of the contract documents. There is none on this project.
2. The solicitation didn’t say anything about wooden/any type of stays, you need stays on a drop fence to hold your wires in place once the fence is let down or you’ll have a wadded-up mess of wire to put back up in the spring. Was that just accidentally left out of the solicitation?
The “Wire Fence and Gates” section states that there will be two wooden stays for wire gates. Please refer to this section.
3. Can the brace posts be driven as well as line posts? Driven posts hold tighter than handset posts and will be MUCH more cost effective.
Yes, if the post is made to be driven in (pointed ends).
4. Are there actual drawings of the specs as well?
Yes, please see attached.
5. During the site visit, we brought up the question of extending the period of performance to next year, possibly to the end of the fiscal year 2022. Is this a possibility?
The period of performance end date has been changed to 7/30/2021. Please note, that although the performance end date has been extended. Once the Notice to Proceed is issued, the project must be completed within 120 days after receiving the notice to proceed, per Block 11 on the Standard Form (SF) 1442.
