About this file

This is a technical specifications document for garage door repairs at two Bureau of Land Management (BLM) facilities in Utah - the Muskrat Fire Station in Grantsville and Vernon Fire Station in Vernon. The work involves repairing 11 overhead doors by replacing hinges, rollers, brackets, cables, drums, selected operators and damaged door sections.

The specifications detail requirements for sectional doors including: Amarr Garage Doors with 1.5" foam core insulation (white) at Muskrat and Amarr 2742C tongue and groove insulated doors (brown) at Vernon; standard-lift track configuration at Muskrat and 6:12 roof-pitch vertical-lift at Vernon; specific operators (Overhead Door RSX Model OPRSXT5001B trolley operator at Muskrat and Liftmaster H Logic 5.0 Elite Series side-mounted jackshaft operator at Vernon); and various hardware requirements like heavy-duty galvanized steel hinges, nylon rollers, torsion springs, and safety features. The work must be performed during regular business hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday-Friday), coordinated with BLM staff since the facilities will remain occupied, and includes training government personnel on operation and maintenance after completion.
