About this file

This document is a Site Visit summary and cleaning requirements memorandum for the Southwest Decision Field Management Unit (SWDFMU) dated February 18, 2026.

The document outlines janitorial and facility maintenance responsibilities for the SWDFMU complex. The contractor performing cleaning services is responsible for daily disinfection of the conference room table, weekly emptying of recycling bins (or more frequently as needed), dusting including computer monitors, proper cleaning of blinds (venetian blinds with treated cloth; fabric blinds without treated cloth), spring cleaning of air vents, and leaving unlabeled empty boxes undisturbed. The contractor will receive keys to the locked Janitor Closet and Expanded Dispatch Room on April 1, 2026, the scheduled start date. The office staff retains responsibility for air fresheners, soap restocking, water fountain filter replacement, shower curtain cleaning, coffee pot cleaning, and sink dishes. During fire season when the Dispatch, Expanded Dispatch, Conference Room, and FMO/DFMO Offices are busy, the contractor must request permission before performing work other than emptying trash and recycling. Paper products are stored in a separate building on the complex. The office will handle shredder maintenance and removal of shredded material.
