About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document (#1) for solicitation 140L0625Q0008 issued by the Bureau of Land Management's National Operations Center for the Muddy Creek Fence project in Wyoming.
The Q&A clarifies several key aspects of the project: a Schedule of Items will be provided in Attachment 6; no formal walkthrough will be arranged but contractors can visit the site independently; an enhanced map is available in Attachment 7; access to the fence line is via a dirt road from State Highway 351 with no private land restrictions; vehicles and equipment can be driven along the fence line where possible; only wood line posts are acceptable (no steel posts); and the project requires a single lump sum bid that includes all removal, installation (fence, gates, braces), and mobilization costs.

Questions and Answers #1
1) Q: Will a schedule of items be included in the solicitation for reference?
A: Yes, please see Attachment 6 – Schedule of Items.
2) Q: Will a walkthrough of the property be able to be arranged?
A: No, contractors can go look at the site on their own if they would like.
3) Q: Is there a better resolution map available for use?
A: Yes, please see Attachment 7 – Enhanced Map.
4) Q: Is there private land blocking access to the fence line and the name of the gravel road that leads to the area?
A: No there are no private lands blocking access. Access to the fence line will be a dirt road that turns South from State Highway 351.
5) Q: Are we able to access the fence line with equipment and pickups and trailers (understanding minimal impact)?
A: Yes, you can drive vehicles and equipment along the fence line wherever possible.
6) Q: It looks like we have the option to use steel line posts, so we just wanted to make sure that t-posts are optional.
A: No steel line posts will be acceptable. All wood line posts are specified.
7) Q: The solicitation seems to be a lump sum bid for all removal, installation (fence, gates, braces), and mobilization. I do see the items broken out in other parts of the information provided, but just wanted to verify that there is one item for this solicitation to include all removal, install, and mobilization as a lump sum.
A: Yes, please see Attachment 6 – Schedule of Items. All project items should be included in one lump sum price.
