About this file
This is Amendment 0002 to RFP 140L0125R0001 for Off-Range Pastures (ORP) in 14 states issued by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wild Horse and Burro Program. The amendment responds to bidder questions and includes revisions to several sections including Section J, Section L, Section M, and Attachment 13.
Key updates include clarification that proposals must be valid for 210 days rather than 30 days, confirmation that the service requirement is for Wild Horses only (no burros), guidance on submitting proposals exceeding 25MB file size, and instructions regarding the Phase III site visits which will not exceed 120 minutes. The amendment maintains the proposal due date of January 26, 2025 at 5:00 PM Mountain Standard Time. Changes are marked with strikethrough for deletions and red text for additions. The amendment also includes updates to the site visit checklist and evaluation criteria related to technical factors such as forage description, water sources, soil type, fencing, corral facilities, site access, equipment, shelter, and safety considerations.
