1Are we to backfill behind the eastern middle section of the fence to prevent erosion that is seemingly certain?If needed to complete project.
2When clearing vegetation are we to completely remove it from property or simply mulch it into the ground as the mowers did around the outside fence perimeter?Mulching is acceptable, if finely ground.
3Can the entire fence be taken down prepped for installing new fence for production and scheduling reasons?Yes, this would be acceptable.
4What is the maximum length of the current fence that can be removed at any one time? Or per day?3,626ft. approximated
5Given that there will be a period where the area is unfenced during the removal and installation, is a temporary fence required?No, not required.
6If the area is left open at any point, who assumes responsibility for it?B.I.E.
7Who will be responsible for the engineering to ensure the slope is correct? As the area on the north side of the center and right ponds, the embankment is quite steep. This will need to be brought to grade level to be modified (shelved out), or may be necessary for some form of erosion control. Who will be responsible for the engineering to ensure the slope is correct and meets all requirements.Contractor.
8The area between the main pond and the pond to its right on the property map? There appears to be a 15' to 20' swell in the terrain. Can this be filled in and leveled out in preparation for fence material installation.Yes, N.M.N.S.Agency can have our Heavy Equipment Operator fill in.
9Where will be storing all the T-Post that will be utilized by BIE?A staging area will be desgnated nearby site for the t-post.
