About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment No. 3) to a federal solicitation for wall repair at the White Mountain Apache Adult Detention facility. The amendment primarily provides responses to eight contractor questions, revealing key project details. Notable responses include: the government has not engaged a structural engineer to confirm the proposed work as a permanent solution, the root cause of structural cracking has been identified, full-time onsite government escorts will be provided, and entry/exit inspections of workers, tools, and equipment will be required. The contract includes a five-year warranty for workmanship that applies only to the repairs performed, not to future structural movements. No prior monitoring documentation of movement or settlement was located in the program files, and no sample warranty template will be provided by the government.
