About this file

This document is a Standard Form 30 Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for a renovation project issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Midwest Regional Office. The amendment changes the closing date from September 15, 2025, to September 22, 2025, at 5:00 PM CDT and provides clarifications through a series of Request for Information (RFI) questions and answers. Key details include material specifications for a small one-level house renovation, such as hail-resistant siding, waterproof flooring, and weather-treated wood for the deck. The government will require 100% replacement of siding, with other components (sheetrock, plumbing, electrical) to be assessed visually. The contractor will identify and replace faulty appliances, and the BIA facility manager will have jurisdiction over inspections, potentially with an independent vendor's assessment. The period of performance is set from September 29, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
