About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation 140A0326Q0008, issued by the Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs Southern Plains Region for furniture relocation services at the Anadarko Agency due to an emergency sewer repair issue.
The Q&A clarifies key service delivery requirements and contractor responsibilities. Furniture items require only disassembly and storage in designated areas rather than full setup in temporary locations. Power whips may be secured in the ceiling during work to avoid electrician reconnection costs. The Agency will box and label all loose items from cubicles prior to relocation, with the contractor responsible only for moving these boxed items. Critically, the contractor must handle any data line reinstallation, cutting, or reconnection work, with the Agency providing no support for reconnection services. This is a 100% Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) set-aside acquisition, restricting competition to qualified ISBEE firms. Amendment P0001 provided continuation pages clarifying this set-aside status and the Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form requirement.

Questions & Answers for 140A0326Q0008, Anadarko Agency Furniture Move due to Emergency Sewer Issue
1. For the items being relocated, will they need to be fully set up in the temporary relocation areas so employees can continue working while trenching is taking place, or will they only need to be stored there until the sewer repair work is completed and the items are ready to be restored to their original locations?
1A. No, all furniture just needs to be disassembled and stored out of the way in designated areas.
2. Regarding the power poles/whips, would it be acceptable to secure the whip in the ceiling until the work is completed? This would keep it out of the way of the contractors and may avoid the need for an electrician to disconnect and reconnect the whip.
2A. Yes, it is acceptable to secure the whip in the ceiling until work is completed.
3. Will all loose items on desks, filing cabinets, and similar furniture be boxed up by the Agency prior to relocation, or is the contractor expected to box these items?
3A. Agency personnel will box and label all loose items from cubicles and similar areas prior to relocation. The contractor will not be responsible for boxing—only for relocating the items.
4. For the data lines in the cubicle panels, if they are removed, will the contractor be responsible for providing a data company to reinstall them, or does the Agency have an existing data company that will handle the reconnection?
4A. Any data lines that are moved, cut, or otherwise affected will need to be reinstalled by the vendor/contractor. The Agency will not be handling any reconnection.
5. The solicitation package includes the Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form; however, we were unable to determine from the SF-1449 whether RFQ 140A0326Q0008 is being conducted as a Buy Indian set-aside under DIAR Part 1480.Could you please confirm whether this acquisition is restricted to Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs)and/or Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs), or whether the representation form is included for informational purposes only.
5A. Amendment P0001 attaches the continuation pages that were inadvertently omitted on the original solicitation. This details that the solicitation is 100% ISBEE Set Aside.
