About this file

This document is Amendment 0002 to RFQ 1305M326Q0374, issued by the Department of Commerce's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) in Seattle, Washington. The amendment extends the quotation due date by one day to August 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM Eastern Time and provides responses to eight Requests for Information (RFIs) received from potential contractors.

The project involves exterior trim and siding repair and paint work at the NEFSC Woods Hole Facility's cottage building. Key clarifications provided through the RFI responses include: gutters require temporary removal and reinstallation only if the contractor's proposal includes removal; sheathing and fastener replacement are not in scope; screen door replacement is not required; the dumpster must be staged in the unsecured parking lot in front of the cottage with no size limitations and must be removed when contractors depart or at end of performance period; the government will provide reasonable water and power at no cost to the contractor; the government prefers all work completed by end of October 2026 to avoid winter conditions but will consider spring 2027 proposals for value evaluation; the wooden entrance gutter must be removed and replaced with metal to match existing gutters; and the extension to the solicitation timeline has been granted. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the revised deadline through completion of the SF 30 form or separate written communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers.
