About this file

This document is Amendment 0002 to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for janitorial services at a NOAA facility in Ketchikan, Alaska (Solicitation 1305M326Q0370). The amendment corrects the response to question 22 and provides answers to questions 23, 24, and 25 (highlighted in yellow), while extending the quote due date to Monday, August 31, 2026 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. The period of performance is October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

The solicitation encompasses weekly janitorial services for a 1,783 square foot facility consisting of 712 square feet of carpeted areas (offices, stairs, and conference room) and 1,071 square feet of linoleum flooring (restrooms). Services include weekly cleaning for 5 offices, 3 restrooms, 1 conference area, and 1 kitchenette, plus biannual deep cleaning in May and October. The contractor must supply all consumable products (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, trash liners) and has access to one small storage closet for supplies and equipment. Weekly service is preferred Tuesday through Thursday between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM Alaska Time. Contractor employees require Tier 1 vetting (30-day lead time) and must be accompanied by NOAA or USFS personnel when accessing controlled areas. For carpet maintenance, stairs must be vacuumed weekly as part of the 712 square feet and shampooed biannually. Bathroom tile floors require stripping and waxing, while office LVT floors require appropriate surface cleaning (mopping/swiffer, no stripping and waxing). The previous contract was awarded to Feibel Teri for $49,500 over five years.
