About this file

This document is a Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) Self-Certification Form related to federal infrastructure projects receiving financial assistance. The form requires contractors or subcontractors to certify that all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project are produced in the United States, in compliance with Section 70914 of Public Law No. 117-58. The certification includes specific requirements such as all manufacturing processes occurring in the United States and ensuring that the cost of domestic components in manufactured products is greater than 55% of the total component cost.

The certification form mandates that contractors affirm the truthfulness of their statements and acknowledges the applicability of 31 U.S.C. Chapter 38 regarding administrative remedies for false claims. By signing the form, the contractor or subcontractor commits to full compliance with BABAA requirements, which aim to support domestic manufacturing and infrastructure development. The form provides space for the authorized official to sign, print their name and title, and date the certification, formally attesting to the domestic production standards of all materials and products used in the project.

Attachment AA Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) Self-Certification Form

The undersigned certifies, to the best of their knowledge and belief, that:

The Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requires that no federal financial assistance for

“infrastructure” projects is provided “unless all of the iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project are produced in the United States.” Section 70914 of Public Law No. 117-58, §§ 70901-52.

The undersigned certifies that for the _______________________________ (Project Name and Location)

3. All construction materials are manufactured in the United States. This means that all manufacturing processes for the construction material occurred in the United States
