About this file

This is a clarification document for RFQ 12FPC126Q0010, a Seeding Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Natural Resources Conservation Service in South Dakota. Questions must be submitted via email to andrew.sawyer@usda.gov and kristina.baker@usda.gov no later than July 26, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time, with the solicitation name and number required in the subject line. Quote submissions are due by July 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time using the same email addresses and subject line requirement; failure to include proper identification may result in rejection.

The document provides estimated work scope information on a non-guaranteed basis, noting that past five historical task orders totaled approximately 2,400 acres and future year locations and acreage remain unknown. Work is expected to be performed east of the Missouri River, with an estimated 824 acres across nine potential offers in eight South Dakota counties: Day (80 acres, 1 offer), Charles Mix (118 acres, 1 offer), Edmunds (58 acres, 1 offer), Roberts (58 acres, 1 offer), Miner (132 acres, 1 offer), Kingsbury (138 acres, 1 offer), Spink (100 acres, 1 offer), and Hutchinson (140 acres, 2 offers). Only components identified on the Pricing Schedule are permitted; biomass removal through burning is authorized when supported by an NRCS-approved burn plan and landowner approval. Annual task order amounts will be determined by actual task orders issued and IDIQ limitations rather than the estimated figures provided.
