Questions and clarifications about Roof Replacement on Building 17 at Stillwater, OK.

1. What is the iso board thickness? Is it 1 layer of 1.5" or 2 layers of 1.5". THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE

THE FLUTE FILL INSULATION.

a. SOW Page 5, Paragraph 3.1.2 states “1.5” roof board insulation over existing PBR roof system”; and 3.1.3 states “1.5” roof board insulation cover board over new 1.5” roof board insulation” for a total of 3” of roof board insulation above the filled flutes between the ribs of the metal roof.

2. Can we install 6" Seamless gutters with double downspouts vs 12' pieces of gutter which eventually leak at the joints?

a. Yes, seamless gutters can be used, but no seams or downspouts shall be placed over windows or doors. Number of Downspouts to be the same and in the same locations.

b. See attached Photos of Existing Downspouts in Appendix B.

3. What are the working hours are weekends allowed?

a. SOW Page 1, Paragraph 1.4, 0800 to 1630, Monday through Friday. Location Monitor will consider special circumstances for weather and hours can be extended from 07:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays. A special circumstance would not include that the company is from out of state. Indoor restrooms are never provided. The contractor is to provide their own restrooms.

4. Clarifications to Paragraph 3.1.7, 2nd sentence to have the following deleted “minimum 30 days prior to procurement.” And the following added “Gutter support sketches and gauges are to be submitted to account for the additional insulation thickness.”

5. Clarifications to Paragraph 3.1.8, sentence to have the following deleted “minimum 30 days prior to procurement.”
