About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (QA) document for solicitation 127EAY26Q0068, addressing clarifications on pest control service requirements for the Angeles National Forest. The document resolves three key discrepancies between the Statement of Work (SOW) and the Scope of Items (SOI). First, it confirms that the Angeles National Forest Supervisor's Office requires only monthly monitoring services of existing equipment with no new hardware installations, while new hardware installations (9 exterior bait stations and 1 interior tin cat) apply solely to the Little Tujunga District Office. Second, it clarifies that the 4 glue boards specified in SOI Item 5 are intended for the Little Tujunga District Office, not the Supervisor's Office which requires 15 glue boards per the SOW. Third, it confirms that the 12-month unit of measure for SOI Items 6 and 7 encompasses all 24 required monitoring visits per site annually (48 combined total visits across both locations), with monitoring occurring twice monthly as mandated in the SOW.
This RFQ, issued by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service, is a Total Small Business Set-Aside with a deadline extended to June 4, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. PT (per Amendment 2). The solicitation covers pest control services for two facilities: the 24,515-square-foot Supervisor's Office (65 employees) and the 4,582-square-foot Little Tujunga District Office (46 employees). The applicable NAICS code is 561710 (Janitorial Services) with a small business size standard of $17.5 million.

Pest Control QA’s 06/02/2026
1. Hardware Installation Locations: The SOW identifies hardware counts for both the ANF Supervisor’s Office (SO) and the Little Tujunga District Office (Little T DO). However, SOI Item 3 (9 EA Exterior Bait Stations) and Item 4 (1 EA Interior Tin Cat) appear to only reflect the new installation requirements for the Little T DO. Amendment 0001 states that the Supervisor’s Office request is "just for monthly monitoring services". Please confirm that no new hardware installation is required for the Supervisor’s Office and that only monitoring of existing equipment is expected.
The ANF Supervisor’s Office (SO) will not require new installations, the SOW is for that site is just for monthly monitoring services.
1. Discrepancy in SOI Item 5 (Glue Boards): SOI Item 5 description specifies placement along the "1st Floor of Supervisor's Office," yet the quantity is listed as 4 EA. According to SOW Section 1.03, the Supervisor’s Office requires 15 Glue Boards, while the Little T DO requires 4 EA. Could you please clarify if Item 5 is intended for the Little T DO (matching the quantity) or if the quantity for the Supervisor's Office should be updated to 15 EA?
The glue boards are intended for the Little T DO.
1. Monitoring Quantities (Items 6 & 7): The SOW requires monitoring "Twice a Month (24)" visits per year for both sites. SOI Items 6 and 7 are listed as "12 MONTHS". Please confirm that the 12-month unit of measure is intended to encompass all 24 required visits (48 total site visits across both locations) as mandated in the SOW.
Yes, that is correct. The 12‑month unit of measure for SOI Items 6 and 7 is intended to cover all required monitoring visits, which total 24 visits per site per year (48 combined), as outlined in the SOW.
