About this file
This document is a Standard Form 30 Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for Solicitation 12639525R0007. The amendment updates the total construction corridor length from approximately 17.5 miles to approximately 14 miles for a high-game fencing project in Cameron County, Texas. The closing date for receipt of proposals is extended to April 18, 2025.
The project involves installing high-game fencing for the Cattle Fever Tick Eradication Program (CFTEP), with specific requirements including 8-foot high, 330-foot rolls of galvanized 12.5 gauge fencing. The fence will be installed with larger bottom openings to allow passage for small protected species. Contractors must provide a Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and detailed drawings/specifications for government review. All interactions with private and public parcel holders must be conducted by a CFTEP representative, with access limited to designated roadways to minimize environmental impact.
