About this file
This document is an Addendum to the Statement of Work for Solicitation 12505B24R0016, which is a request for proposals (RFP) for concrete repairs and pavement painting at the National Center for Animal Health facility. The addendum adds a requirement that all pavement painting must be performed during weekend hours, excluding holidays, as the government cannot accommodate work during normal business hours due to employee and government vehicle occupancy. The work must be scheduled with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or designated government representative at least two weeks in advance to allow for employee notifications and to ensure the work areas are clear of vehicles. The solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, with a NAICS code of 238990 (All Other Specialty Trade Contractors) and a PSC code of Y1LZ (Construction of Parking Facilities). Proposal due date is 11:00 AM CT on August 6, 2024.

Addendum-001 Solicitation: 12505B24R0016
NCAH FY24 Concrete Repairs & Pavement Painting
This addendum is to add a requirement to the original Statement of Work that was not included prior to contract bidding. This addendum is intended for all bidders to be aware of the information, so project bids accurately reflect the additional requirement.
1. Execution of all pavement painting in areas included in Base, building 152 parking lot, building 20 North parking lot, building 24 parking lot, building 20 visitor parking lot, building 21 parking lot and Gate 1 Site Entrance, is to be performed during weekend hours, excluding holidays. The government cannot accommodate work during normal business hours because employee and government vehicles must occupy the areas.
2. Work is to be scheduled with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) or designated government representative at least (2) two weeks prior to execution. This allows for government employee notifications and allows the government ample time to ensure that government and employee vehicles are clear of the work/painting areas to mitigate any damage to said property.
