12505B22Q0161 - UPS Battery Replacement Questions and Answers through 8/1/2022

Question Answer 1 We are able to provide a battery replacement quote for the

(2) 9170 units (S/Ns: EX215T0026 & EX244T0006) but am unable to include the Chloride unit, and wanted to make sure you will accept.

No, the Government intends to award one firm fixed price contract.

2 The SOW states a total of 90 batts. are needed for each unit. This would mean each UPS needs a total of 18 modules. We do not have enough information in our system to confirm if that is accurate, would you or someone at the site be able to confirm there are 18 battery modules in each unit?

Yes, there are 18 modules per UPS. Each UPS has a battery extension module attached. (12 modules in the UPS and 6 modules in the Battery Extension Module for each.)

3 What is the Period of Performance? Period of Performance is 90 days after award of Contract.

Are able to advise on the part number and quantity for the batteries in the Chloride unit?

Per the Statement of Work the Chloride Unit is Model MEPEM50D4X4, Serial # B263489 with three strings of 40 batteries each for a total of 120 batteries. The present battery part # is PS-121000 U 12 Volt 100 AH batterey, sealed lead acid rechargeable battery.
