About this file

This document outlines an agenda for a pre-bid meeting regarding an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for the construction of approximately 27 miles of backcountry singletrack trails in the Monongahela National Forest. Key details include: the contract will be awarded for 3 years with approximately 5 miles of trails to be built in 2023, subject to change; work is to occur between 8am and 6pm Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays; tree felling is restricted from March 31 to November 15 due to northern long-eared bat concerns; motorized equipment access on completed or in-progress trails requires approval from the ranger and contracting officer's representative; and flagging will delineate the trail corridor and centerline with junctions and turns marked. The meeting agenda reviews safety protocols, wage requirements, site access, specifications, the project description, and allows time for questions.
