• This contract is to obtain unarmed guard services in and around 8 buildings on at 22-acre site at U.S. Forest Service, Forest Products Laboratory, Madison Wisconsin during non-business hours.

• Approximately 550 hours per month

• 1 Guard minimum

• Approximately 12 hours Monday – Friday

• 24 hours a day on weekends and holidays.

• The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation and supplies, except as identified herein as Government-furnished, to provide unarmed security guard services specified by this performance work statement (PWS) and any attachments.

7. How many hours for 1 guard per month?

a. Due to the fact that I have been so busy and unable to respond in a timely manner, let me know if you need a 24-hour extension.

a. No there had not been any Code Red’s.

13. What is the perfect number of guards you are looking for?

a. 1 guard per day.

14. Can you sub the contract out?

a. See page 56 of the solicitation.

☒ (20) 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting (Sep 2021) (15 U.S.C.637s)

52.219-14 (1) Services (except construction), it will not pay more than 50 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count towards the prime contractor's 50 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. When a contract includes both services and supplies, the 50 percent limitation shall apply only to the service portion of the contract;
