About this file

This document is a Badge Request Process for contractors and visitors accessing the Savannah River Site (SRS).

It outlines the requirements and procedures for obtaining a badge to access SRS, including the types of identification documents accepted, training requirements (General Employee Training, Consolidated Annual Training, and Safeguards and Security Annual Refresher), and the process for returning badges. The document also provides details on the SRS Badge Office hours of operation, waitlist check-in system, and prohibited articles.

For federal contract opportunities related to SRS, the document describes a solicitation for Fence Boundary Maintenance and Emergency Repair services. The scope includes regular fence maintenance and clearing, as well as emergency fence repair, with specific details on the required labor, materials, and equipment. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis, and the contractor must obtain an SRS badge and complete required training prior to commencing work.
